According to the Meteorological Department, during the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall was recorded in Quaidabad 55 mm, PAF Base Masroor 48, Orangi Town 45, Kemari 42, Gulshan-e Hadid 36, Nazimabad 29, North Karachi 26. , Korangi 24, Saadi Town 21 mm, Airport Old Area 18, DHA Phase II 17, Jinnah Terminal 16, Sadar 9 mm, University Road 20, PAF Faisal Base 19 and Gulshan-e-Mamar 18 mm of rain were recorded.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be up to 200 mm of rain in Karachi today with stormy winds, while the citizens have been instructed not to step out of their homes unnecessarily. Officials say that the current system of rains may remain across Sindh including Karachi till Tuesday.

On the other hand, many areas of Sindh, including Hyderabad, Sanghar, Tharparkar, Mirpurkhas, Hala, New Saeedabad, Tando Adam, Shahdadpur, have also received heavy rain and it continues intermittently. Flood situation has arisen in many areas.

Heavy rains are continuing intermittently in Tharparkar tehsil Islamkot and its surroundings. There are reports that more than 200 mm of rain has fallen here so far.
