CM Punjab Announced Good News for Central Model School The status of the Government Central Model School was thoroughly examined in a special meeting hosted by caretaker Chief Minister (CM) Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, on Wednesday, stressing several initiatives to improve its operations.
The CM emphasised the need of giving priority to the school’s students when it comes to admissions to the next classes. He declared that students from the school will gain an extra ten points in the admission exams for classes 6 to 10 and O-level.

Furthermore, he requested that the school building be designated as a “Green Building,” assuring that tree cutting is prohibited throughout construction and upkeep.
The meeting discussed transforming the school building to use solar energy in conjunction with the commercial sector, encouraging sustainability and environmental consciousness.
The CM directed the construction and maintenance of the Central Model School building to begin immediately. He emphasised the need of preserving the old building’s architectural splendour.
Furthermore, the CM authorised the distribution of free uniforms, shoes, stationery, and notebooks to students, easing the financial strain on their families.
In an unprecedented step, he proclaimed that no tuition will be charged to pupils enrolled in the new Central Model School project, thereby easing access to high-quality education.
The CM approved the provision of free books to Cambridge students, giving equal educational possibilities.
In addition, the CM offered a Rs. 2,000 monthly scholarship and a Rs. 250 daily conveyance stipend for each student. He emphasised the necessity of increasing student enrollment in government schools and advised students to register as soon as possible.
These comprehensive programmes aim to improve the educational experience at Government Central Model School by empowering students and creating a welcoming environment for learning.
