CSS Exam Paper Pattern 2022

  • There are a total of 12 papers in the written test. Six papers are required, while six papers are optional.
  • There will be two 100-point papers and each subject will be worth 200 points.
  • There will be one paper in each of the other disciplines.
  • Each paper will have a time limit of three hours.
  • In both essential and optional topics, the applicant should expect some multiple choice questions (mcqs).
  • There are no multiple choice questions (mcqs) in pure mathematics, essay, or applied mathematics papers.
  • Three papers of general knowledge-I, general knowledge-II, and general knowledge-III must be passed with a total of 120 points out of a possible 300 points.
  • Total marks for compulsory subjects: 600

CSS Exam Criteria for Passing

The passing standards for written tests are established by the Federal Public Service Commission.
