Everything You Need to Know About PMS Exam 2022 Competitive Exam Guide

Provincial Management Service is abbreviated as PMS. Every year, the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) holds PMS exams to fill vacant positions in the provincial management service. PMS exams are very similar to CSS exams. Students who take PMS exams can also take CSS exams with some extra preparation. PPSC now only accepts computerized application forms or PMS exams.
PMS & Combined Competitive Exam 2022 Format
In PMS Exam 2022, there are two types of papers: compulsory and elective. Candidates must appear in all of the mandatory papers listed below.
1.Essay in English
2.General English
3.Urdu
4.Ethics or Islamic Studies (For minority candidates only)
5.Studies in Pakistan

Each compulsory subject is worth one hundred points. In PMS, there are 30 elective/optional subjects divided into seven groups. Documentation is required.
Currently, the PPSC only accepts online applications, but candidates must bring the following documents, along with a set of photocopies, to the interview-viva.
1-Original fee deposit receipt from a bank
2- Matriculation or O Level diploma
3-Intermediate or A Level diploma Candidates with A-level certificates must also bring their original IBCC equivalence certificate.
3-A bachelor’s degree or a detailed marks sheet displaying total marks, CGPA/GPA, or percentage of marks.
4-A domicile certificate issued in any district of Punjab on or before the closing date.
5-If you are a civil servant, you must bring a permission letter from your department that has been issued and attested by the competent authority. A sample permission letter is available on the PPSC’s official website.
6-A letter of experience signed and stamped by the appropriate authority. A sample experience letter is also available on the PPSC’s official website.
7-Original and valid NADRA national identity card
8-Recent passport-sized color photograph
9-If you have a foreign qualification, you must bring the equivalence certificate issued by the related department’s qualification equivalence determination committee.
10-Disabled candidates must bring a disability certificate issued by the Punjab government’s social welfare department.
PMS Exam 2022 Preparation Tips
1-If you want to take PMS exams, you must begin studying for them during your graduation year. Choose the subjects from your graduation that you want to pursue in PMS and take all of the exams in English.
2-Better your general knowledge of Pakistan, Islam, everyday science, and current events.
3-Learn creative writing, which, along with general knowledge, is one of the keys to success in PMS.
4-Use past papers to your advantage and attempt to solve as many previous papers as possible.
5- Improve your vocabulary and grammar in English.
6-Daily, write an essay on any topic from past papers.
7-Do not skip any PCS exams during your preparation.
Because 8-PMS and CSS are like twins, they both appear in CSS exams.
9-Daily read both English and Urdu newspapers, as well as CNN and BBC.
10-In MCQs, just take calculated risk and try to understand the distinction between calculated risk and bluffing.
11-Attempt the papers as if you were a winner.
