ISLAMABAD: Representatives of the Supreme Council of Private Schools have decided to open private schools from January 11 in any case.
Talks have started between the Private Schools Supreme Council and the government. Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood, Parliamentary Secretary Wajih Ikram, Chairperson Para are representing the government while the Supreme Council delegation includes Afzal Babar, Hafiz Basharat, Abrar Khan and Nasir Mahmood.
On this occasion, the representatives of the Supreme Council of Private Schools took the position that it is our joint decision to open private schools on January 11, the government should understand our problems and take steps to solve them.
On the occasion, Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood said that summer vacations would be reduced this year, final approval would be given by the NCOC, however, examinations in March would be postponed while the final decision on reopening of schools would be taken by the NCO on January 4. C will be in the meeting.
The Education Minister said that the decisions of government delegations and private schools would be kept in the NCOC for final approval.
