
New Delhi: A car bomb exploded a few steps away from the Israeli embassy in the Indian capital, destroying three cars.
According to the international news agency, a loud explosion was heard a few meters away from the Israeli embassy located in the red zone area of the Indian capital New Delhi.
The blast was heard far away when three cars were destroyed near the embassy. Ambulances honking their horns were seen approaching the scene while police cordoned off the area.
A New Delhi police spokesman confirmed the blast near the Israeli embassy, saying there were no initial reports of casualties. The nature and cause of the blast are being determined.
It should be noted that a similar blast took place at the Israeli embassy in New Delhi in 2012, but no casualties were reported.
