External funding for instability, anti-military statements are part of the same conspiracy, Rehman Malik

ISLAMABAD: Former Federal Interior Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Rehman Malik has said that huge funding has been provided from India and Afghanistan to create political instability in Pakistan.
The former federal interior minister revealed that millions of dollars have been allocated to destabilize Pakistan, under which political factionalism will be sought along with extremism in the country.
He said that there would be conspiracies of sectarian and ethnic riots in Pakistan, adding that India and Afghanistan were trying to destabilize the country.
He disclosed that foreign funding was brought to Pakistan through various financial services. “Our brothers were martyred in Quetta. I strongly condemn it,” he said.
Rehman Malik said that the language being used against the Pakistan Army is not right, such statements and speeches should not be made against the army because it is a conspiracy against Pakistan.
The PPP senator appealed to all citizens not to get angry over anything as after such incidents, a front will be opened against Pakistan on social media.
He said that as the chairman of the standing committee, he would order the ad hoc to stop anti-Pakistan propaganda, anti-Pakistan content on social media should be blocked immediately and the prime minister should also take immediate action against anti-national content shared on social media.
