Undergraduate scholarships have been made available by HEC to Baloch and FATA students. The provision of higher education opportunities for students from Balochistan and FATA (Phase-III) for undergraduate studies in all disciplines is being announced by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as Indigenous Scholarships Batch-I.
For the award of Scholarships for Undergraduate Studies in HEC-Recognized Public Sector Universities degree Awarding Institutions or W-Category Private Universities of Pakistan, applications are solicited from candidates with local certificates/domicile of Balochistan or former FATA. The deadline for Balochistan and FATA Scholarship applications has been extended to February 17, 2023.

Balochistan & FATA Undergraduate Scholarship Requirements:
- The local certificate or domicile of Balochistan or FATA is required for applicants.
- Candidates must have completed a 12-year degree programme with a 60 percent or above in FA, FSc, ICom, ICS, or a related field.
- As of the Closing date, there is a 22-year-old maximum age restriction.
- Candidates must meet the necessary academic requirements by the closing date or earlier.
- Candidates who have received a HEC or government scholarship in the past are ineligible to apply.
HEC Balochistan and FATA Scholarships for Undergraduates Covers:
- Up to Rs. 60,000 in annual and semester hostel fees and average tuition costs.
- A monthly living payment of Rs. 6,000 with annual increases of Rs. 500
- Annual book allowance of Rs. 5,000.
- An annual travel allowance of Rs. 5,000.
- 10,000 rupees in initial settlement compensation, given just once during the study period.
How to Apply for a HEC Scholarship for Undergraduates:
Applications must be submitted online at www.hec.gov.pk/site/bf3 on the HEC website. At this time, hard copies of the documents are not necessary. The applicant must submit PKR 500 as part of the application processing cost in an HBL account. The applicant must keep the original bank payment record or slip safe and upload it with their online application in order to present it at the testing facility. Nobody will be permitted to take the test unless they can show the original bank deposit slip.
After finishing the application form, the candidate must submit the application online. We won’t consider applications that have been saved and aren’t complete.
Without providing a justification, HEC maintains the right to postpone or end the scholarship procedure at any time.
