San Francisco: Google has announced that from next month it will offer its augmented reality glasses to the general public so that they can use them and learn about their strengths and weaknesses.
Be it Apple, Meta or Snap, all companies have joined the race of virtual and augmented reality glass and Google has made an important announcement in this regard.
Google has said in its statement that ‘From next month, we are testing an AR prototype that will allow people to learn more about them. They will be able to get information on the environment, weather, buildings and busy highways and on the other hand they will also get entertainment.
However, Google has not released images of its AR devices. One of them has been named ‘Proto-29’. All that is known is that these will be like normal lenses, they will display video on the inside while the right side will have audio and sound sensors.
According to Google, they will be tested in certain regions of the US, while testers will only have access to its limited option, but the AR prototype will be tested on a small scale. It is also known that taking photos and videos with these lenses will not be allowed.
