LAT 2024 registration for the HEC Law Admission Test is now available. The Law Admission Test (Law-LAT) is being held by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for applicants seeking admission to a five-year undergraduate LLB Degree Programme in HEC/PBC-recognized public and private sector universities/institutions and their approved affiliated colleges. The HEC Law Admission Test will be held in key cities throughout the country. Students can choose any centre they choose.
The HEC Law Admission Test is planned scheduled for January 21, 2024. The application deadline for the Law Admission Test is January 8, 2024. Online applications can be submitted through the HEC website. Please keep in mind that the HEC Law Admission Test is required for admission to the LLB programme at any Government or Private University, as well as their affiliated colleges.
Who Is Eligible to Take the HEC Law Admission Test?
- Students who have completed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or an equivalent qualification
- Students who have taken the HSSC or comparable final exams and are awaiting the results
- Any changes to the exam date will be informed via http://etc.hec.gov.pk. Applicants who register online with the HEC will be able to download their Roll Number Slips one week before the examination date at http://etc.hec.gov.pk.
- The examination date, time, and location will be communicated to registered applicants by email/SMS. Candidates must give valid email/mobile phone numbers when completing the online application form.
- To enter the Examination Centre, a printout of the Roll Number Slip and the original CNIC will be required.
How to Apply for the HEC Law Admission Test LAT 2024
- For online registration, please go to the following address: http://etc.hec.gov.pk.
- If you have any problems while registering online, please visit onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk. For assistance, contact the HEC Secretariat or one of the HEC regional offices.
- Application submission consists of two steps: profile completion via the “My Profile” section and application submission via the “Law Admission Test” link on the menu panel in the web portal’s left-hand sidebar.
- Only applications that have been SUBMITTED will be evaluated for the LAT Test, and applications in SAVE or INCOMPLETE status will not be considered.
- Other Conditions/Requirements
- The test fee of Rs. 1800/- must be deposited using a participating bank/ATM/Internet Banking/Mobile Banking/Easypeise/JazzCash/Upesa.
- After you’ve chosen the link bill invoice payment invoice. Open/sign into your mobile app and select Bill payment or payment services (as appropriate for your mobile banking app).
- Click on Bill Invoice Payment Services and input the ETC portal’s consumer number. Pay the amount once you’ve seen the facts.
- After depositing the fee via link 1Bill Invoice, go to the ETC Dashboard and click on Verify Online Payment. Candidates must have their questions/complaints answered before the web registration system closes. Queries/complaints.
- The test fee is neither refundable nor transferable.
- The system denies handling after the registration deadline for logistical and security concerns.
- The online registration deadline is January 8, 2024.
