ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he was surprised at the fuss over not inviting Pakistan to the Climate Change Conference.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has tweeted that he is shocked to hear the outcry over Pakistan’s non-invitation to a conference on climate change. We are committed to passing on a green and transparent Pakistan to future generations to mitigate the effects

Imran Khan said that we are taking steps like green Pakistan, tsunami of 10 billion trees, eco-friendly measures and cleaning of rivers, etc. Starting from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, we have gained extensive experience of 7 years and appreciated our policies. And if a state wants to benefit from our experience, we are ready for it.
The Prime Minister said that if the international community is serious about tackling the deadly effects of climate change, then I have already made clear my priorities at the 2021 United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP26).
