The Vivo X50 will feature a quad rear camera setup, but it is unclear whether it will include a micro-gimbal camera system. There are also speculations that both phones will include a periscope camera.

Vivo X50 smartphone is going to be launched on June 1. Earlier this week, Vivo revealed that there is also a Pro version of the phone, which will be named Vivo X50 Pro. Now the company has teased the official look of the smartphone as well as their color options and quad rear camera setup through their Weibo account. Meanwhile, a tipster on the Chinese micro-blogging site has claimed that the phone will be equipped with a 90Hz refresh rate display. Apart from this, Tipster has also claimed that the Vivo X50 Pro will also include a 48-megapixel periscope-style camera.

In an official render posted on Vivo ‘s Vibo account, Vivo X50 Pro can be seen in two colours. These are two shades of blue, while the standard Vivo X50 is shown in pink. It has also been teased that both the Vivo X50 phones will be equipped with a hole-punch display.

Vivo has also revealed the quad rear camera setup on the Vivo X50 Series. Last week, the company had reported the inclusion of a micro gimbal camera system in the Vivo X50 phone, for which it is now speculated that it will be included in the Pro model. The Gimbal camera on the Pro is much larger and the rear camera module of the phone is slightly different from the common rectangular module. The Vivo X50 will feature a quad rear camera setup, but it is unclear whether it will include a micro-gimbal camera system. There are also speculations that both phones will include a periscope camera. The information about Vivo X50 phone’s processor, battery capacity, storage options etc. have not been leaked nor teased by the company. The price of the smartphone also remains unclear at the moment.

Recall that Vivo first teased the micro gimbal camera system in the Vivo Apex 2020 concept phone, which was introduced in February this year. This particular camera system is considered much less volatile than other smartphones and it blurs the background quite well in photos.
