NUMS ADMISSION FOR PRIVATE MEDICAL COLLEGES 2021

NUMS announces centralised admissions for private medical colleges for the 2021 academic year. Applicants with foreign qualifications, such as O/A Levels, must upload the equivalence certificate granted by IBCC at the time of online application submission, or their application will be refused.

Once filed, applications are considered final. Applications that are in any manner incomplete will be rejected. The online admission portal will open on November 3rd, with the deadline for applying for NUMS private medical college admission on November 17, 2021. Applications must be submitted solely through the online site. Hard copies are not permitted. After the deadline for submission, no application will be considered.

Applicants’ Selection of Options:-

The online admission site will provide applicants with a list of all connected and related medical/dental colleges from which to choose.

Applicants are urged to use caution when selecting medical and dentistry schools of their choice. Admission to MBBS/BOS programmes at relevant Medical/Dental colleges would be granted solely on the basis of merit.

The following documents must be scanned and uploaded with the Application for Admission:

NUMS Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Private Medical Colleges in 2021

  • All Pakistanis with proper citizenship (including citizens of AJK and Gilgit Baltistan) are eligible to apply for open merit admission to the above-mentioned colleges.
  • A minimum of 65 percent aggregate marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent, as well as a minimum of twelve years of study.
  • Passing the National MDCAT with a minimum of 65 percent is required.
  • It is required to have taken the NUMS Entry Test 2021 in order to apply for open merit seats at all of the above-mentioned colleges.
  • Foreign/Dual Nationals Eligibility Criteria
  • A student who does not have Pakistani nationality, has dual nationality, or is an overseas or non­resident Pakistani citizen who has acquired an HSSC or comparable 12th-grade certification from outside Pakistan is considered a ‘Foreign Student’ for admission reasons. Foreign Students are admitted solely on the basis of merit, and no exceptions or special quotas are established for them.
  • Minimum of 65 percent aggregate marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or similar education from a foreign nation school, college/university or its examining body or education system in at least three disciplines, namely Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or Mathematics. IBCC equivalence will be necessary.
  • Applicant must have passed the National MDCAT exam with at least a 65 percent score.
  • If the applicant is not taking the SAT – II track for admission, they must have taken the NUMS Entry Test 2021.
  • NUMS Admission Merit Formula 20211 F.Sc (Pre-Medical)/HSSC/Equivalent: fifty percent
  • MDCAT (National MDCAT) NUMS Entrance Exam: 25%

Admission Schedule for NUMS Private Medical Colleges Session 2021

  • Admissions application registration opens on November 3, 2021.
  • The deadline for submitting an application for admission is November 17, 2021.
  • The Hifz-e-Quran Test will be held on November 23rd and 24th, 2021.
  • Display of the First Merit List on December 8, 2021
