On WhatsApp Web Beta, Messages Can Now Be Edited

Since rival applications have long offered the option to modify messages, WhatsApp has been working on implementing it. Now that the update has finally landed on the most recent beta version of WhatsApp Web, we are one step closer to gaining that capability once more.
The function was discovered by WABetaInfo, and beta users of the app’s web version have full access to it. Remember that WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop are two different services. The latter is a native programme created for laptops and PCs, whereas the former can be accessed using web browsers.

On WhatsApp Web beta version 2.2319.9, you have the option to modify any message by holding down on it. However, the app is also adding a 15-minute time limit for changing messages, meaning you can only update a message within 15 minutes after sending it, in order to maintain the validity of conversations. Within this restriction, a message may be altered several times.
The feature will soon be available on phones as well, even though it is currently only available on WhatsApp Web. This is due to the fact that the most recent Android beta version demonstrates that the feature is nearing completion and will be available shortly.
Given its importance, it should also soon be available for iOS devices.
