Pakistan launches third phase of coronavirus vaccine trial

ISLAMABAD: The third phase of testing of coronavirus vaccine has started in Pakistan.

Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Planning and head of the National Command and Operations Center, announced in a tweet that the third phase of testing for the corona virus vaccine has begun in Pakistan.

He said that Corona vaccine has been developed by a Chinese company. 8,000 to 10,000 Pakistanis will participate in the pilot phase. Preliminary results of the test are expected in 4 to 6 months. 40,000 people from 7 countries are participating in the vaccine trial voluntarily. Are

Earlier, the NCOC had said that Phase 3 Clinical Trials Covid 19 vaccine cannabinoids have been launched in Pakistan while the first and second phases of vaccine testing were completed in China.
