Ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and popular Pakistani singer Abrar-ul-Haq has also contracted the corona virus.
He shared the news of Corona’s test coming positive through his Twitter account.
Abrar-ul-Haq wrote, “My Corona test has been positive. I have quarantined myself at home, but inshallah I will continue to perform my duties as a Red Crescent and Sahara worker through Skype.” Please pray for me and all those who fought Corona. ‘
Earlier on Saturday, Abrar-ul-Haq had expressed his fear in a tweet that he might have contracted the corona virus.
The singer wrote on Twitter that he has been suffering from a dry cough and fever since last night, but he hopes it will not be corona.
Abrar-ul-Haq briefed Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and others who met him recently about his condition and appealed to him to take precautionary measures against Corona.
Social media users are expressing good wishes for the singer and praying for his speedy recovery.
It may be recalled that so far many eminent personalities of Pakistan have been infected with the corona virus. Two days ago, PTI leader and Minister of State Shehryar Afridi was also diagnosed with the corona virus.
Earlier, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani and many other important personalities have also fallen victim to Corona.
