On Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan established a scholarships complaint portal for students around the nation. He said that the major goal of the site is to provide an exclusive resource for students receiving education on scholarship for their assistance and settlement of grievances. The platform, according to the Prime Minister, would also guarantee openness and meritocracy in the scholarship process. According to him, a team of academics will monitor the site, and scholarships will be awarded in new subjects based on market demand.
Prime Minister Imran Khan remarked at the opening ceremony of the Scholarship Complaint Portal in Islamabad that students were having difficulty since scholarships were being canceled after a few years. Imran Khan said that scholarships might help to enhance the school system.
Imran Khan went on to say that India’s prosperity is largely due to its investment in higher education. In India, a lot of money is spent on education. He said that it is our responsibility to make the youth aware of the ideals of the state of Madinah, as well as to make our young generation aware of Islam’s lofty values. The Prime Minister noted that the goal of scholarships is to help young people. In his speech during the occasion, the premier said that in the past, student concerns were neglected and that they experienced enormous difficulties in completing their degrees.
Shafqat Mahmood, Minister of Federal Education, said that the government has made significant investments in higher education and expanded the number of scholarships available to postgraduate and undergraduate students. He said that the government has constructed 28 new institutions and has set out 123 billion rupees for higher education. Currently, 2.6 million students, 72 percent of them are women, benefit from these scholarships.
