MDCAT 2022 will take place on November 13, 2022, according to PMC. The MDCAT exam will be given at provincial universities. It will be based on the PMC website’s publicly available common curriculum. The MDCAT results will be made public by PMC, and both public and private institutions and universities in Pakistan would accept them. PMC will administer the test through ICT on the same day at all of the provinces’ public universities.
The Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences (Baluchistan), University of Health Sciences Lahore (Punjab), Khyber Medical University Peshawar (KPK), Dow University of Health sciences Karachi (Sindh), and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad were chosen to host the MDCAT examination for Pakistani students (ICT, AJK, Gilgit Baltistan).
MDCAT Pass Rate for 2022
It was determined that the pass rates for BDS and MBBS would be 45% and 55%, respectively. The Council lowered the pass rate to aid students in adjusting to life in Pakistani medical and dental schools after over 20,000 students sought admission to international medical and dental schools last year, causing Pakistan to suffer a significant financial loss.
NUMS MDCAT 2022
It was determined that the MDCAT Exam for NUMS-affiliated colleges would be administered independently by PMC via NUMS, and that only students who intended to enrol in these colleges alone may take the exam. The decision was made because PMA lengthy courses shouldn’t be interrupted. The test will be a paper-based manual exam, and on the day of the test, the answer sheets will be published on the websites of the universities hosting the test and PMC. Additionally, it was agreed to prolong the MDCAT exam registration period with PMC by 10 days. A site has been established for this purpose.
Exams for MDCAT 2022 in Other Countries
Due to the highest concentration of students in these nations, the Council decided to hold the MDCAT test for international students in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Other nations could not establish centres owing to their extremely low student populations and time zones. The PMC website will be updated with the centres’ information. Foreign students who live in other nations and wish to take the MDCAT exam may do so in Pakistan or in any of these two locations if it is practical for them to do so.
