MDCAT Exam is going on locally and internationally at designated PMC centres from 30th August to 30th September, 2021. Almost 126k students take the MDCAT exam in 200 sites across the country. PMC and Teps were in charge of the exam centres. The test is computer based and the the result for individuals shown immediately after submission of test.

Protest of Students against PMC MDCAT 2021
Candidates for the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) staged a sit-in outside the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) office on Thursday, demanding a retest.
According to sources close to the situation, the students and their parents organised the sit-in after discussions between students and PMC officials over the issue of retesting proved futile.
According to the protesting students, the data of thousands of students was exposed following the hacking of PMC’s website yesterday.
“The PMC has jeopardised the futures of hundreds of kids,” stated the students.
Meanwhile, the PMC management emphasised that it is aware of the protesting students’ views.
“Every effort is being made to assure merit in MDCAT,” PMC officials stated, adding that the commission’s position is to put the medical sector in line with worldwide norms.
Earlier in the day, a huge group of students from several colleges protested the PMC outside the Supreme Court’s Karachi Registry, demanding that the MDCAT be held on a single day across the nation.
