PPSC Starts E-Payment System for Jobs 2022

For jobs with the Punjab Public Service Commission, applicants must visit the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) branch that is closest to them to pay fees (PPSC). This will soon change, though, as the PPSC has finally decided to make it easier for applicants by integrating an e-payment system into the job application portal.

A PPSC spokesperson said that the Punjab Information Technology Board and the e-payment system were both involved in its development (PITB).

Candidates will receive a 17-digit Payment Slip ID starting on August 1, 2022, when submitting an application through PPSC’s online job portal (PSID). They must pay the fee associated with the PSID using an ATM, Internet banking, mobile banking, microfinance bank, or in-person at the nearest branch or Internet banking of a 1Link member bank.

The candidates will receive a confirmation SMS and email from PPSC after paying the fee. Candidates will be able to finish their applications on the PPSC job portal after confirmation.

The spokesperson continued by saying that the e-payment system is intended to speed up the hiring process in addition to helping candidates. It will end the use of fraudulent or unpaid challan forms and assist with automating receipt verifications.
