PUNJAB GOVT TO HIRE 16000 TEACHERS THROUGH PPSC

The Punjab Government has declared the commencement of the recruiting process for 16000 teachers in the province’s government institutions. The Punjab Public Service Commission PPSC would be in charge of the recruiting. Previously, the Punjab Government announced the hiring of 33 thousand teachers, however only 16000 will be employed in the first phase.

Dr. Murad Raas, Punjab Education Minister, declared on social media that the summary for the employment of over 16,000 educators has been signed and submitted.

Dr. Murad Raas went on to say that he is grateful to Allah for providing him the opportunity to generate job possibilities for the youth. He further stated that the recruiting process will begin immediately and will be concluded inshallah. The Punjab administration has also declared that 14 thousand instructors in the province’s public sector educational establishments will be regularised.

The Punjab Public Service Commission will shortly announce the recruiting procedure, and adverts will appear in major media. Applications must be filed to the PPSC. A test and an interview will be held, and a stringent merit-based policy will be followed. It is important to note that schools in Punjab are experiencing a serious teacher shortage, and the government intends to recruit School Teaching Internees as well.
