Earlier, the Punjab police reported a range of job positions for constable and lady constable positions through the candidate testing services (CTS). Applicants from the different districts of Punjab had applied to the Punjab Police Force. The authorities had originally carried out a physical examination for the selection process. Later, the written examination was administered only for applicants who had completed the physical test. Being an independent agency, CTS facilitates the recruiting of competent and deserving applicants for positions by both public and private organisations. A huge number of applicants apply to qualify for the positions open, but only a handful of them have managed to get a pass.
