Polling is underway for by-polls in NA-75 Daska constituency of National Assembly which will continue till 5 pm without any break. While Tehreek-e-Libek candidate Khalil Sindhu is also participating in the election process

There is a public holiday in the constituency during the by-elections while strict security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order, Rangers and police troops have been deployed. Three hundred and sixty polling stations have been set up, of which 47 have been declared sensitive, while the Chief Election Commissioner himself will oversee the elections for transparent and peaceful elections.

Violent incidents took place in the by-elections in NA-75 Daska constituency of Sialkot in February. Two people were killed and several others injured in a firing incident while 20 presiding officers went missing along with polling bags. Arrived at the RO office at 6 am the next day

After the commotion in the constituency, the Election Commission withheld the results and ordered re-election in the entire constituency. Later, the Supreme Court also ordered re-election in the constituency.
