KARACHI: Sindh Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah has said that the recruitment process for recruitment of teachers in Sindh Education Department is going to start from Monday in which 46,549 teachers will be recruited.
Addressing a press conference along with Syed Mir Mohammad Shah, Vice Chancellor, IBA Sukkur, he said that for the first time in the history of the country, such a large number of teachers are being recruited simultaneously and the whole process is automated. In order to ensure full transparency, this press conference has been convened to address any concerns regarding this process.
The Education Minister said that the process of recruitment of teachers is fully computerized, there is no room for any kind of recommendation and bribe in it, the candidates should remove all ambiguities, the tests of teachers will be on merit, even think of giving one rupee to someone. No, believe in your hard work.
He said that if any employee of the education department was found involved in bribery in exchange for teachers’ jobs, he would not only be fired but would also be sent to jail.
On the occasion, IBA Vice Chancellor Syed Mir Mohammad Shah said that an agreement has been reached between the Education Department and Sukkur IBA for third party recruitment through Sukkur IBA, under which tests are starting from tomorrow. ۔
He said that tests are being conducted on 14039 posts of JEST and 32510 posts of PST and a total of 46549 posts. A total of 386270 candidates will appear for the test. The test is reported at 7.30 am Centers have been set up in Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mirpur Khas, Hyderabad and Karachi. Candidates will not be able to enter the test center without their original identity cards. Please do not bring your mobile phones.
The Vice Chancellor said that there will be a test of 100 minutes, the result will come in 48 hours, the answer sheet will have the name and picture of the candidate so that they will be able to see the answers on their own, along with the carbon copy of the answer copy. The original copy will be with the company.
In response to a question, he said that any applicant who takes the test will get a specific code and he will be able to see for himself later in the test how many questions he answered correctly. Remember that his sentence is three years in prison.
He further said that centers have been set up at 6 places and the original reply letter will be collected in the center, while the carbon copy will be taken by the candidate and the reply copy will be scanned and uploaded in three days.
