Schools should reopen on January 11: Shahram Tarkai

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Minister Shahram Khan Tarkai has suggested reopening educational institutions across the country from January 11, 2021.

Recently, Punjab Education Minister Murad Rass said in a statement that given the current situation of coronavirus in the country, reopening of educational institutions does not seem possible. However, the provincial minister had said that closing educational institutions was the most viable option in the current situation.

On the other hand, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has also said that the reopening of educational institutions in the province amid the second wave of corona virus could lead to an increase in cases of corona virus.

Earlier in November, the NCOC had recommended the closure of educational institutions from November 26, 2020 to January 11, 2021 in view of the second wave of corona virus.
