KARACHI: Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has said that this year all students from first to twelfth class have been promoted to the next classes without giving exams and those who fail in various subjects should also be given passing marks. The tax will be promoted to the next parties.
He said that there would be no special examination this year and students who wanted to improve their subjects would be given the opportunity to take the examination next year. We have not stopped the opening of private educational institutions if they want to open schools from today but we have stopped the teaching process and no school can start the teaching process without the consent and permission of the government. The company has announced not to open while no date has been given for opening. We will take a decision only after reviewing the situation and formulating the education policy in the steering committee.
Saeed Ghani said that we had already announced to promote children from 1st to 8th due to corona virus and later to announce to promote children from 9th to 12th as well as to work out the procedure. For this, a sub-committee of the steering committee of the education department was formed. This committee has formulated its recommendations during two to three meetings and we will convene a meeting of the steering committee of the education department in the next two days and put these recommendations before them.
“According to the recommendations, as we have no record of the ninth and eleventh graders, these children will be promoted to the next classes without any marks and when these children take the tenth and twelfth examinations and The numbers obtained will be considered as the ninth and eleventh numbers.
The provincial education minister said that the children of class X and XII would be promoted to the next classes on the basis of their results in class IX and XI and an additional 3% marks would be added to the marks obtained by them. Children who want to fail in any number of papers will be given passing marks. He said that no special examination will be held this year and the children who want to improve their marks will also be promoted but if they want they will be given the opportunity next year. Private students But the same rules will apply.
