T20 World Cup; Chances of rain in Melbourne reduced

The clouds have cleared after a night of rain in Melbourne ahead of the T20 World Cup final.

The final of the T20 World Cup will be played between Pakistan and England at the historical cricket ground in Melbourne today, but the chances of rain during the match have decreased.

The Bureau of Meteorology says there will still be some sunshine and some clouds in Melbourne, but the chance of rain has dropped from 95% to 45%.

At 7pm Australian time the chance of rain has dropped to 41% and at 8pm it has dropped to 44%.
