Due to the epidemic, the FBISE conducted the annual examination of HSSC Part-II only in optional subjects while the results were compiled under the federal government’s promotion policy.

At a function held at FBISE, women candidates were congratulated for securing top position in 2021 HSSC examinations.

Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood graced the occasion as the chief guest.

A total of 81,988 regular, private and repeater students appeared for the HSSC Part Two examinations for 2021, out of which 80,282 candidates passed the examination, which is 99.89 percent.

Acknowledging the fact that students were not provided with proper online facilities for their education, the Federal Minister for Education said that those who failed the examination would be given 33% passing marks.

He said the announcement of results, the conduct of examinations and the reopening of schools were major challenges for the government in the wake of the Corona virus.

He added that due to the lockdown caused by the corona virus, educational institutions can only remain open for four to five months.

He said that the announcement of HSSC results was made possible through discussions with the provincial governments and 30 boards across the country.
