The Federal Board announced 10th Class Result

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Monday announced the results of the annual matriculation examinations, saying that 111,306 students had passed the examinations.

Candidates can check the results by sending an SMS to 5050 on their registered mobile numbers.

According to the results, Mohammad Sarem Hussain along with Rabia Sarfraz and Zoya Ahmed secured the first position in the science group by getting 1098 marks. They also got the same number of marks.

Kainat Suleiman, Zainab and Asma secured the second position with 1096 marks while Ashba Fatima came third with 1095 marks.

Among the humanitarian groups, Gulshan Fatima secured the first position with 1,092 marks while Hafiz Tanzeela Sehar secured the second position with 1,090 marks. Saleha Nawaz of this group came third with 1089 marks.

Earlier on September 27, the FBI announced the results of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part Two Annual Examinations for 2021.

Due to the epidemic, the FBISE conducted the annual examination of HSSC Part-II only in optional subjects while the results were compiled under the federal government’s promotion policy.

At a function held at FBISE, women candidates were congratulated for securing top position in 2021 HSSC examinations.

Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood graced the occasion as the chief guest.

A total of 81,988 regular, private and repeater students appeared for the HSSC Part Two examinations for 2021, out of which 80,282 candidates passed the examination, which is 99.89 percent.

Acknowledging the fact that students were not provided with proper online facilities for their education, the Federal Minister for Education said that those who failed the examination would be given 33% passing marks.

He said the announcement of results, the conduct of examinations and the reopening of schools were major challenges for the government in the wake of the Corona virus.

He added that due to the lockdown caused by the corona virus, educational institutions can only remain open for four to five months.

He said that the announcement of HSSC results was made possible through discussions with the provincial governments and 30 boards across the country.
