The moon of Shawwal has appeared, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Pakistan tomorrow

Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated in the country on Sunday, May 24.

The committee headed by Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Chairman Central Route Hilal Committee, met at Meteorological Department, Karachi Complex. Apart from the members of Ruwit-e-Hilal Committee, members of Zonal Committee and Navy experts also attended the meeting and members of Meteorological Department SPARCO also attended the meeting for technical assistance.

Announcing the sighting of the moon, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that evidence was received from the areas where the moon was likely to be seen and it took time to review them. He expressed sorrow over the loss of life in the plane crash in Karachi and also prayed for an end to the Corona virus epidemic.

Apart from Karachi, meetings were also held at the headquarters of zonal committees in Lahore, Islamabad, Quetta and Peshawar.

The chairman of the Ruwet-e-Hilal Committee said that medical experts said that handshakes and hugs could lead to the spread of the coronavirus, so it was better to exercise caution and greet Eid orally.
