BEIJING: China has said it would welcome the lifting of all illegal sanctions on Iran and the United States rejoining the global nuclear deal.
According to the International News Agency, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying has said that the United States has unilaterally withdrawn from the global nuclear deal and imposed sanctions on Iran to increase tensions in the region.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman welcomed the talks between Iranian officials and the White House administration on the withdrawal of the United States from the global nuclear deal and demanded that the United States lift sanctions on Iran.
Hua Chunying added that China’s role in the “Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action” has been fair and constructive, while the United States withdrew from the agreement, causing tensions in the region.
