Truecaller has also added Home tab to it, in which you will see all your calls and messages in a list. However, earlier in the interface you used to get separate tabs for calls, messages, UPI and premium.
Truecaller has announced new designs and new smart SMS features to improve its messaging feature. Truecaller is a very popular app, known for caller ID service, although you can also take advantage of messaging and payment features on this app along with identifying caller ID. Smart SMS feature has been added to the redesigned version of the app, this feature divides all your categories of SMS and Chats into four different tabs. Apart from this, the updated TrueColor app brings home tab feature, in which your call history, SMS messages and instant messages will all be found in one place.
In the Truecaller update, you will get a full-screen Caller ID interface, in addition to the existing pop-up Caller ID function, which will be available to you as an opt-in feature. With the update, the new feature has started rolling out for Android users in India. The company also plans to rollout these features for IOS and global users, which could be released in the coming days.
In this update, the major change that the trocolor users will get will be ‘New Interface’, which has brought the Smart SMS feature. Through this feature, the messages in the device will be automatically divided into four different groups. These groups will be Personal, Important, Others, and Spam. The new edition added to this list is Important, which will include your financial and payment related messages.
TrueCollar stated in its press release that this new tab will help users keep track of essential bills, payments and budget-related work. The new tab also lists the payment messages of other services. Apart from this, we are also planning to include travel reminders such as flight deal, bus seat allocation, live tracking, tax updates and doctor and appointment etc.
A spokesperson for Trucollar told Gadgets 360 that Trucolor has more than 150 million active users in India, half of which use Trucolor as their default dialer. It has 60 percent of its premium subscribers in India. Which is about 7,20,000 subscribers out of the globally 1.2 million premium subscribers.
