The Institution of Education is a public research university in the city of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It is a multi–campus university with institutes and campuses in several metropolitan areas around Pakistan’s Punjab region. It was founded in 2002 and now provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programmes in a variety of academic areas, including arts and science. The university has around 13,000 students. In 2010, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) named it one of Pakistan’s best institutes of higher learning.
