Upwork or Fiverr? Where to start freelancing

In a previous post about freelancing, some people asked me what platform to start with? There is a detailed article in this regard. By reading it, you will be able to guess which platform is best for you.
As you know, freelancing websites have Fiverr and Upwork at the top. There are also hundreds of platforms, including Freelancer.com and Peopleperhour.com. In today’s post, we will only compare Fiverr and Upwork.
First of all, I will mention my experience with Upwork has not been anything special, the reasons for which I will explain later. Since Fiverr is derived from the English word five and in the beginning every job on Fiverr was five dollars but now there are reasonable rates for every job but still, most of the people here are looking for cheap work.
Fiverr is easy for the seller and the buyer. All you have to do is create an account on Five and create a gig for the job you specialize in. The job you offer is called a gig in Fever’s language. That is, if you do web designing work, you will make a gig. I will design the website for that amount of money and the buyer will see your gig and decide whether you should work or not. In simple words, you set up your shop on Fiverr and the buyer comes and goes shopping.
But the opposite happens in Upwork. You have to find buyers yourself. One by one the client has to message that I will do your job and ten people message the client in one hour that I will work then the client will choose the servant. In Fiverr, the client sees your gag and sends a message that I have to work. So far so good, but the new employee in the Upwork does not get one approval or the other approval, so you can send offers to five to six clients every month because you get twenty points every month on Upwork and every job. It costs you two or four points to apply for and then you either wash your hands or sit down or buy these points with money.
But once you get your rating on upwork then you can get very good projects and the price of work on upwork is also very good.
You can get your money earned on Fiverr within 14 days but you cannot get this money directly in a Pakistani bank account. For this, you have Fiverr card or Payoneer bank account which is an account like PayPal and free in Pakistan. You can get through it and then transfer it to your Pakistani bank or withdraw it from Pioneer ATM card. On Upwork, you can withdraw money directly from a Pakistani bank account, provided that the total amount you earn is one hundred dollars.
Now it’s up to you which platform you choose, I suggest you start with Fiverr and then try Upwork.
Last but not least, some people have difficulty creating an Upwork account and they pay people to create an account, so the easy tip for them is to add as many skills as possible to their profile when creating an Upwork account. If you do, it will be approved. Creating an Upwork account is as easy as drinking a glass of water, but if you are unable to create an account, think about what you can do for clients in freelancing.
