An emergency meeting was held at the head office of Pakistan Federal Union of Columnists in Lahore.
Chairman PFUC Farrukh Shahbaz Warraich, President Abdul Majeed Malik, Head of Legal Department Raja Waheed Ahmed, Senior Vice President Rana Ali Zohaib, Vice Presidents Shahbaz Ali Abbasi and Prof. Fayyaz Raja, Secretary General Sanaullah Shaiq, Secretary Information Shehzad Roshan gillani, President Central Punjab Hassam Durrani were present in meeting. President Balochistan Chapter Muhammad Amin Magsi attended the meeting through a video link.
Addressing the meeting, President PFUC Abdul Majid Malik said that “few days ago, a false and baseless FIR was registered against the President of Pakistan Federal Union of Columnist (Balochistan Chapter) Muhammad Amin Magsi in Sibi District of Balochistan. Muhammad Amin Magsi Send documentary evidence to Sibi administration, despite this Sibi administration published an advertisement against Mohammad Amin Magsi.
We strongly condemn this unlawful act by Sibi administration and demanding to withdraw the false and baseless FIR against Mohammad Amin Magsi.”
In their address, senior vice president Rana Ali Zohaib, president central Punjab Hassam Durrani said that “the entire PFUC is with Muhammad Amin Magsi and any kind of unlawful act will not be tolerated. The Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal khan should take notice.”
