The Google Play Store has finally deleted Barwaqt, a Pakistani banking app notorious for collecting user data and manipulating users. Several reports from the app’s unhappy victims appear to have finally been noticed.
Searching for the app on Google Play currently reveals that the link has been deleted.
For those who are unfamiliar, Barwaqt is a Pakistani software that provides online loans in a variety of methods. The corporation says that consumer information is protected, yet the software has a history of stealing personal information such as phone numbers, names, email addresses, and more.
The government has already warned individuals about this software.
