For undergraduate admissions, the University of Punjab has released the schedule for the PU Entry Test 2025. All applicants interested in applying for admission to the undergraduate programmes provided by the University of Punjab, Lahore, are thus informed that participation in the PU Admission Test, which is anticipated to take place on July 20, 2025, is required.
Students may apply for the PU Entry Test 2025 if they have completed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or the equivalent (Grade 12) and have taken the final examination of the HSSC or equivalent and are awaiting results. The deadline to register online for the PU Admission Test is July 4, 2025.

The Admission Test in Punjab University will be conducted in the following seven categories based on relevant academic streams/disciplines:

PU Entry Test weightage and merit
The weightage of the admission test is 25% of the total merit calculation.
The admission Test will be held in the Major Cities of Pakistan (http://admissions.pu.edu.pk).
How to Apply Online for the 2025 PU Entry Exam

- The fee for the Admission Test is PKR 2,500.
- The examination fee is neither refundable nor transferable.
- Download the Fee Challan at http://admissions.pu.edu.pk while registering for the Admission Test.
- Fee Challan is available exclusively through the PU Admission Portal. The Fee can be paid at any HBL, UBL, or Mobile Banking via Will branch.
- To complete the application procedure, all Applicants are required to upload an image of proof of payment on the portal. A
- dmission to Engineering Programmes at the University of Punjab is LIMITED to the ECAT or NUST Exam (no PU Admission Exam is required).
- Admission to LLB programmes at the University of Punjab will require both the LSAT and PU Admissions Test.
- Admission Notices for all University of Punjab Departments/Centers/Institutes/Colleges/Schools will be published separately in National Dailies and on the University’s website.
