- Candidates must have completed matriculation/O level or any other comparable qualification from a HEC recognised school or institute.
- Students awaiting their matric/O level results can also apply for the GCU inter admissions 2023.
- GCU Pre-admission Entry Test and interview are required for all candidates, whether they are applying on a regular or self-supporting basis or for a quota reserved seat.
- O level candidates must have completed eight subjects in total, five of which must be English, Urdu, Pakistani Studies, Islamiat, and mathematics.
- Except for a few unique cases, all candidates will take the GCU Pre-admission Entry Test.
- Successful candidates will be called out for an interview by their relevant professor after passing the entry test.
- Under no circumstances will the GCU admission test be retaken.
- To qualify for the interview, all students must achieve at least 50% on the GCU Pre-admission Entry Test.
- A minimum of 50% is required to pass the GCU interview and appear on the final merit list.
- Candidates who are self-supporting are not eligible to apply for any reserved quota seats.
Pre-admission to GCU Entry Exam
Pre-admission to GCU Every candidate enrolling for GCU intermediate admissions must take the Entry Test. In total, candidates will be asked five questions in their GCU entry test; the questions can be separated into portions, and all questions will be related to the candidate’s chosen programmes. All applicants will be allowed a total of two hours to complete the test. The total number of marks for the test will be 40, with candidates needing to earn at least 20 to be considered for the interview. GCU Entry Test Merit Aggregate:
The GCU Entry Test Merit Aggregate will include the following marks weightage:
- Entry test marks are worth 40% of the total.
- Matric/O level marks are weighted at 50%.
- Interview marks are worth 10% of the total.
GCU Application Process:
- Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of GCU.
- Navigate to the admissions area and create an admission portal account by entering your email address.
- You will then receive a confirmation email with an activation link, which you can use to successfully activate your GCU admission portal account.
- Include your biographical information as well as your academic qualifications.
- Select the programme for which you want to apply.
- After that, create the application processing fee challan.
- Pay the Rs. 2000/- application processing fee at any United Bank Ltd (UBL) branch before the admission deadline (May 29, 2023). The application processing cost will not be refunded.
- All candidates must submit an application processing fee for each group and category separately.
GCU Admission Important Instructions:
- Payment of the application processing fee via the UBL app, Omni, or mobile wallet app will not be accepted.
- All candidates must apply online; there is no need to send applications via courier or postal service.
- For each programme, a unique admission form must be submitted.
- Self-supporting candidates will be charged a separate application fee.
- Disabled, O level, sports, extracurricular activities, and nominees from other provinces are excluded from taking the GCU entry test.
- The total quota for handicapped people and minorities is 2%.
- Deserving candidates can also receive financial support.
- The GCU Entrance Test, Interviews, Sports, and Co-curricular Activities Schedule will be communicated to students via their admission portal/account or the university’s website. There will be no individual emails or SMS messages issued to each contestant.
