From the current academic year 2022, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore will discontinue the extra examination system for failing students in several disciplines.
According to the specifications, the extra test will henceforth be known as the “second annual examination.” According to facts, the Lahore Board has implemented a system of first and second yearly examinations in place of extra examinations.
This year, due to the implementation of the new system of first and second exams, there will be no matriculation or intermediate supplemental examinations. The first annual examination will be held every year on time, and the second annual test will be held six months later. According to the official, in addition to failing students, new candidates might take the exam.
